Highly recommend! I like Sunday brunch @ home 231 my food is always consistent and tasty. Superb service, even when crowded! Recommend making a reservation; however, you can most always find a seat @ the bar!

I've been to this restaurant three times with a friend and each time ordered something different. Every single thing we've tried on the menu was fantastic. The wait staff are very attentive and helpful. They also have a full bar with a friendly bartender.

I stumbled on this spot while exploring and it was such an incredible little bar. When I first walked in, I was surprised at how small of a space it was. I was a little nervous because the bar was so little. But small quickly turned into charming. The bartender was such a great guy! He was super helpful and sweet. He helped me choose my drinks then he and a couple of regulars gave me the scoop on the area. I was by myself so I needed to get the scoop on safe areas and areas to avoid. It was nice to know I was in a fairly safe area and could walk around and explore. I had dinner plans for later so I just ordered a charcuterie board. But if you know me at all, that's enough to make me super happy! I definitely recommend checking it out!

We had a seat right by the window. Food came out on time and was phased out perfectly. Our server was attentive and had good recommendations. My fiance and I were visiting for our anniversary. We were not disappointed.

An excellent chef helms the cozy Home 231. On a side street in easy walking distance to the state capitol, there is a quiet street filled with beautifully kept older homes you'll find a paradise for those who enjoy custom cocktails and food that is thoughtfully prepared. If you appreciate your food tasting like the menu describes it then this is your kind of place. Seasonal ingredients applied in a fresh approach makes classics really shine. Baked oysters Rockefeller was the best I've ever tasted! A perfectly removed oyster that was fresh, clean, and mouth sized. The lemon was not too acidic but left the end note in your palate lifted. As a chef, sometimes you'd think making a salad is the easiest thing to handle, and it's not. One of the things I've found many struggle with is dressing a salad. Either it's overdressed, overpowering of garlic, or you're given a packet of store bought dressing. The baby arugula salad with fresh lemon vinaigrette is bright and crisp and you just can't stop eating it. Things to know: - There is one bathroom that is unisex, with a locking door. There are a few steps down to get to the bathroom which is locate on another level. - There is plenty of on-street parking nearby. - There is a great friendly bar inside. Fully stocked for custom drinks from smoked, to herbal tonics, you will not be bored here. Make it your CHEERS! Recommended: absolutely! Perfect for: a business meeting with a client, an intimate dinner with a partner or spouse, getting together with a friend to catch up Attention by staff: excellent Food quality: (scale of 1~ 5) Price:

Went with a party of 10 for a late dinner. All of the food was excellent. All of the drinks were excellent. The service was stellar. When I made the reservation, I told them that it was for my daughter's graduation. The waiter brought out my daughter's dessert with a sparkler on it and then handed her a graduation card from the staff. My daughter was really touched. Already planning my next visit.

This restaurant is nothing short of incredible. Between the overly accommodating staff, that was willing and able to not only break down our bill into 5 separate checks for our group, but also offered to portion out appetizers into five servings AND unsolicitedly offered to divide the cost of the table's appetizers amongst the five checks, and the amazing food, this place gets five stars all around! Wish I could give six. We started with a few appetizers, specifically the lamb birria tacos, Korean boneless pork ribs, crab mac and cheese, and the blackened octopus. Paired them with an old fashioned for good measure, which was smoked and hit with a nice touch of amaretto. All of the apps were fantastic. Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd have to go with the crab mac and cheese. Most of the table ordered the smoked short rib as the main course, but one of our crew decided on the pork kan-kan, which he was gracious enough to offer me some of after it came out. It's a dish you'd be hard pressed to get anywhere else, so I'd highly recommend it on that point alone. If it's not your thing though, the short rib and its bed of grits were delightful. Ended the night with several different deserts, including the donuts, churro stacks with ice cream, mocha cheesecake, and crème brûlée. Couldn't go wrong with any of them. Well done!

Birthday Dinner! Started with The G.O.A.T Martini. An order of their Drunken Meatballs with Carmelized Onions & Grits the grits were perfect probably the best I've had in a while. Cup of Creamy Potato Soup Rich and delicious My wife ordered the Brussel Sprout Ceasar Salad and I ordered the Apple Cider Smoked Short Ribs with Roasted Garlic Mashed Short Ribs were very tender and flavorful with just a hint of the Apple Cider & a mild smokiness the garlic mashed is a perfect addition along with the gravy I personally would of liked a little more gravy. Kaitlin our server was outstanding and very helpful in making choices. Home 231 is very relaxing and their booths and tables are very spacious and comfortable. There is a small bar that could fit maybe 10-12 and the bar is a full bar! This was the 2nd time I've been here and do plan more visits. Was a perfect dinner on my BD.

Finally visited here for an intimate dinner, highly recommended!! I got the pan fried halibut over a white bean and kale broth/stew. Delicious! I couldn't eat the whole thing. Service was great, there was a large party so our server made sure to communicate with us about how long things would take, which was appreciated. Pricey but well worth it, great date night place.
